VPN Subscription Setup and Connection Guide
Get your account and subscription ready in the user panel, then import the server list on your device. Follow the steps in order and check the results in the apps you use.
Create an account and save your credentials
Open the account creation page in the VPNIz user panel and follow the prompts to set a username and password. No email address is required; a username and password are all you need to create an account. Check the spelling of your username before submitting, and save your login details in a trusted password manager. Use the same account to view plans, get your subscription, and submit support tickets.
Once your account is created, you can continue if the user panel opens automatically. If you’re taken back to the login page, sign in with the username and password you just saved. Make sure you can open the account overview before moving on to choose a plan. Avoid creating multiple accounts to troubleshoot login issues, as this can separate your order from the account you use day to day.
Already have an account? Use the “Log in” link in the page header. If you can’t sign in, check your keyboard input, capitalization, and that your password manager has filled in the correct credentials. If the issue persists, see the account guide in the Help Center. Your login details are for the user panel only, not your client’s subscription URL. Don’t enter them as a server name or node configuration.
Choose a plan and review your order
Open the Plans section in the user panel and decide whether a monthly plan or a data package better fits your usage. Monthly plans include 60GB for ¥9.9/month, 250GB for ¥18/month, and 500GB for ¥28/month. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the start of each calendar month. If you often stream video or transfer files, use your actual data usage to choose a plan rather than relying on the server name alone.
If you’d rather pay based on usage, data packages are available at ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until used and never expire. “Never expire” applies to data packages; monthly plan data still resets. To compare the options, visit the Plans page, review the prices and billing terms, then return to the panel to place your order.
After choosing a plan, check that the plan name, amount, and account are correct in your order. Follow the payment page instructions to pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Once payment is complete, return to the user panel and check your order and plan status. Don’t assume your subscription is ready just because the payment page redirected you. If the status hasn’t updated, refresh the panel and keep your payment record. Avoid paying again while the status is unclear.
All plans allow unlimited simultaneous devices, and VPNIz offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you upgrade during your plan, the price difference is converted into remaining days; review the confirmation page in the panel before proceeding. For questions about payment status, plan changes, or refunds, see the relevant information in the Help Center. Once your plan is active, get your subscription from the account overview.
Get your subscription from the user panel
Open the account overview and confirm that an active plan is shown for your account. Find the subscription or import section and review the client options provided by the panel. If you’ve already installed a compatible client, use its import option when available. If your browser asks to open an external app, check that it’s the right one before allowing the handoff. Importing gives the subscription to your client; it doesn’t connect you automatically.
For manual setup, copy the full subscription link and keep it on the clipboard of a trusted device while you switch to your client. The subscription link lets the client retrieve server configurations; it isn’t a marketing page or user panel login URL. Don’t remove the end of the link, add spaces or line breaks, or paste your panel password in its place.
After a successful import, your client should show the subscription name or a list of servers by region. If you see only a line of webpage text, an unsupported-format warning, or no servers at all, return to the panel and check that you copied a subscription compatible with your client. Then review the import method. You usually don’t need to edit configuration files to troubleshoot this; first check the link source and client type to narrow down where things went wrong.
Treat your subscription link like an access credential. Don’t post it in public forums, shared documents, or screenshots that anyone can see. If you need help, share the error message and client platform, but hide the subscription details. For more on subscription updates and format differences, see the Help Center. Continue below to install and import the client on your device.
Import the client on your platform
Open the Downloads section in the panel, choose your device platform, and follow the instructions to get the VPNIz client. Clients for Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux are available after sign-in; you’ll still need an active subscription to connect. The iOS download option requires an active plan. Installing a client and importing a subscription are separate steps: once installed, the client still needs to load your server list from your account.
Windows: Add a subscription configuration
Choose Windows in the Downloads section and use the desktop client provided by the panel. After installation, open the app and look for “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or a similar settings page. Choose the option to add a link. If the panel offers an import option for this client, you can also start the import in your browser and confirm that the newly installed app receives it.
For manual import, paste the full link copied from the account overview into the address field. Add a recognizable local name, save it, and update the configuration as prompted by the client. Once the server list appears, select the configuration to continue. If the client asks to enable the system proxy or authorize a network component when you connect, review what it does and follow the prompt. Installing the client without selecting a configuration doesn’t mean your browser is using a server.
macOS: Import and approve network access
Get the macOS desktop client from the panel and install it. If macOS asks you to confirm opening the app or adding a network configuration, check the source and app name before approving. A blank screen after denying access doesn’t mean your subscription is invalid, and you don’t need to disable macOS security settings to import it.
Open the client’s configuration or subscription manager and use the import-from-link option to add your subscription. Save it and load the server list. If you start the import from your browser, return to the client and confirm the configuration appears before selecting a server. After connecting, check the status in the menu bar or app window. If system authorization is still pending, complete it before testing access. For issues involving network extensions and other apps, see connection and troubleshooting help.
Android: Import your subscription and approve the connection
Sign in to the panel and open Downloads. Select the Android client and install it by following the page and system prompts. In the app, choose the import-from-link option under Configuration, Subscription, or Add, then paste and save your subscription. If the app detects a link on your clipboard, first make sure it came from your current account rather than a webpage you copied earlier.
Once the server list appears, choose a server and start the connection. Android may show a VPN connection request; make sure it’s from the client you’re using before allowing it. Keep the app open and test access in a browser first. After confirming it works in the foreground, check what happens when you switch apps or lock your screen. If the connection drops only in the background, review Android’s battery and background activity settings for the app instead of repeatedly deleting and reinstalling the subscription.
iOS: Get the client and add your configuration
Make sure your account has an active plan, then open the iOS option in the Downloads section of the user panel and follow the instructions to get the client. If the panel says your plan doesn’t meet the requirements, return to the account overview and check its status. Don’t look for replacement download links from unknown sources. After installing the client, return to the panel and use the matching import option, or add the link manually in the client’s subscription manager.
After saving the subscription and loading the server list, choose a server and connect. If iOS asks to add a VPN configuration, verify which app is making the request and follow the system prompt. Return to the client to check the connection status, then test the browser and target app separately. If the browser handoff doesn’t import automatically, use the client’s explicit option to add a link. Repeatedly clicking the handoff link won’t tell you whether the subscription was saved.
VPNIz also supports Linux. Follow the platform-specific installation and import instructions on the panel’s Downloads page. You can use the same account to get a subscription on multiple devices, with unlimited simultaneous devices; each device still needs to be set up separately. For more on proxy modes, developer tools, or AI request routing, read the Complete Guide to Accessing AI Tools. There’s no need to change these advanced options during your first connection.
Connect and verify that it works
After importing, select the configuration you just added, then choose a server from the region list. For your first connection, start with a region supported by the service you want to use. See the global server locations page for details about server types and use cases. Turn on the connection in your client, wait for it to show a connected status, and make sure there are no unresolved system permission prompts.
The connection status is only the first check. Before connecting, use the IP check page to see your current outgoing IP. Connect to a server, run the check again, and compare the IP and location. If the check doesn’t complete, first make sure the page itself loads; one failed lookup doesn’t necessarily mean the entire server is unavailable. Consider the outgoing location alongside the requirements of your target app, rather than relying only on the region name shown in your client.
Next, open the website or app you actually want to use and try again. Being able to open international websites in a browser doesn’t mean every app uses the same route. Some apps may keep an existing connection or use different proxy settings. If needed, close and reopen the target app, then test page loading, features after sign-in, and continued use. For AI tools, streaming output, and video playback, check the results in each app itself.
If the client says it’s connected but your access hasn’t changed, first check that the current configuration is enabled and that the system proxy or connection mode required by your client is turned on. Then try updating the subscription. Change one thing at a time and keep the error message so you can identify the cause. If it still doesn’t work, visit the Help Center or sign in to the panel’s support ticket section. Include your device platform, client, and the step where the issue occurs.
Once you’ve verified the connection, keep an eye on whether your apps work as expected, your remaining plan data, and whether your subscription needs updating. VPNIz describes its privacy policy as anonymous with no logs. Keep your account, subscription, and third-party app credentials secure when using the service.
